Angela sent me an email last week with a single great idea. Angela (or Angie) and I have been now dating for over a year now - and she constantly surprises and delights me.

This "delightful" email note last week identifying a blogging link (and idea) that she found. She wrote:
... I am going to encourage my mum to start a blog. She can write about things she remembers as a child and growing up and things she faces each day with arthritis, etc. and just write about her life. That way when she is older and lost her faculties or is gone, I can make a book of them and our kids can get to know their grandmother a little better. I was wondering would your dad do a blog as well? That would be great since we are waiting so late in life to have kids they won’t be here forever but their stories could be in their own words and with photos. Plus they then can also interact with people who find them interesting ...
As I read Angie's note, it reminded me of a Christmas Gift that I gave Dad (a book) on how to write your autobiography. But then it struck me – while it maybe good for Dad – it may just be a great idea for me.

And so began the advent of this blog. I plan on writing my experiences from when I grew up in Ottawa. It will include Top 5 Movies, Music, News Headlines and other culturally relevant citations beside my story postings to add further context. I'm hoping you'll enjoy the stories and social times that I'm going to describe -- and maybe they will lead You to remember your own memories.

For those who may have read my Interactive Project Management Blog - you'll know that its been about 6 months since my last posting. I've been reconsidering the content objective, presentation and goals of the blog. I'm re-vamping the blog, and hope to get it back up-and-going shortly.
